Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist specializing in Echocardiography with at least 2 years of pediatric experience and current echo certification for an 8-hour day shift assignment.

Responsibilities

• Position is based in a Cardiovascular Laboratory
• Specialty in echocardiography with a focus on pediatric and adult patients
• Shift is 8-hour days
• 13-week contract assignment
• Use of Epic EMR system is required
• No block scheduling available
• Primary responsibilities include performing echocardiography procedures in both adult and pediatric populations
• Epic training and test-out will be required during orientation; candidates unable to test out must attend full Epic training
• Orientation occurs every Monday
• Local candidates are accepted except those with a permanent address in Tallahassee

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in echocardiography
• Pediatric echocardiography experience is required
• Echo certification required; RDCS or RCS accepted
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Documented experience with Epic EMR is required
• Two professional references dated within the last 12 months
• Completed skills checklist within the last 12 months
• No unexplained work history gaps over 30 days
• License required if applicable
