Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technician for a vascular lab position, requiring BLS and vascular certification.

Responsibilities

• Position is in a vascular laboratory setting
• Works with vascular ultrasound procedures
• Shift schedule is 10:30 AM to 9:00 PM, Wednesday through Saturday
• 13-week contract
• No call required
• Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility
• Must be able to work two of three major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and one minor holiday (day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
• Returning staff who were formerly permanent employees must have a minimum two-year break before being eligible as travelers
• Time off requests must be submitted up front; no requests can be made after offer
• First-time travelers are accepted
• Interview process may include prescreen and potential second interview with department manager

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in vascular ultrasound specialty
• Current BLS certification required
• Certified Vascular Technologist (vascular certification) required
• License required if applicable
