Job Description

The Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer performs imaging services for both inpatient and outpatient procedures for physician review and interpretation. This position requires expertise in general ultrasound, lower leg venous (DVT), and breast imaging, in addition to familiarity with GE and Cerner systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform general ultrasound exams and specialized imaging for patients.
• Conduct lower leg venous examinations, focusing on DVT assessments.
• Complete imaging for breast evaluations.
• Manage call responsibilities in coordination with fellow technicians.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of experience in a similar setting.
• Completed a two-year degree or certification program in Ultrasonography.
• Certification as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
• COVID and Flu vaccination or approved declinations.
