About The Position
Job Title: Sonographer Profession: Sonographer Specialty: Ultrasound Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Rotating Shifts Hours per Shift: 8, 10, or 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: Required Certifications: ARDMS, BLS (AHA), Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) via ARDMS Must-Have: Completion of a C.A.H.E.P. accredited training program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography Registered by the ARDMS or ARRT with certification in one specialty (AB, OB/Gyn, PS, RVT) Vascular and general experience required Background hits must be disclosed at submission Description: Unit Notes: 100 Mile Radius Rule Completion of a C.A.H.E.P. accredited training program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography is required. ARDMS certification is necessary. Candidates must be registered by the ARDMS or ARRT with certification in one specialty (AB, OB/Gyn, PS, RVT). CCI certification is acceptable but not preferred. Vascular and general ultrasound experience is required. Background hits must be disclosed at the time of submission. Cancellation policy allows for 2 shifts per 13-week contract. Charting system is Meditech Expanse. A BSN is not required. Trauma level care setting is acute. Rotating shifts may include weekends, holidays, and on-call duties. Required certifications include ARDMS, BLS (AHA), and Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) via ARDMS.
