About The Position
Job Title: Ultrasound Tech - General Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Ultrasound Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 10 hours (20:00 - 06:30) Experience: Minimum 2 years of Sonography experience License: Pending license okay with submission, must be in hand prior to start Certifications: ARDMS, ARDMS AB, ARDMS BR, ARDMS OB/GYN, ARDMS RVT, BLS Must-Have: Vascular (RVT), Abdomen (ABD), OB/GYN registries Description: The Ultrasound Technician will be responsible for performing general ultrasound procedures. Shifts will consist of four 10-hour overnight shifts, from Tuesday to Friday. Candidates must hold the required certifications in Vascular, Abdomen, and OB/GYN. First-time travelers are welcome to apply. The role requires experience in the following ultrasound areas: 1st trimester, 2nd trimester, 3rd trimester, abdomen, abdominal aorta, abdominal circumference, adult, amniotic fluid index, aorta, appendix, arterial graft studies, arterial mapping, biliary tract, bladder, bone lengths, breast ultrasound, carotid, cerebellum, ventricles, color flow, dialysis grafts, diaphragm, Doppler studies, duodenal atresia/intussusception, duplex, fetal anatomical survey, gallbladder, gender determination, heart, hernia, high-risk obstetrics, hips, intraoperative, isolation precautions, liver, renal, and many more. It is important to have experience in charting systems, particularly with Epic. The patient demographic includes neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Candidates should be prepared for a dynamic and interdisciplinary work environment. Travel experience is preferred. Candidates should be able to cover a 50-mile radius.
