Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado or compact state
• At least 1 year of recent PCU or ICU nursing experience
• Oncology nursing experience required
• ACLS certification (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• Chemotherapy Certification, BMTCN, or OCN preferred
• Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude

PCU RN Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care to individuals undergoing blood and marrow transplant procedures in a clinical setting
• Administer chemotherapy and follow neutropenic fever protocols, including blood culture draws and IV medication administration
• Monitor, assess, and document patient status using Meditech EMR
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Promote a culture of teamwork, positivity, and clinical excellence in the BMT unit
