About The Position
Job Title: Surgical Technologist Profession: CST/ORT Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 18:45 - 07:15 Hours per Shift: 10.5 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Not specified Certifications: Not specified Must-Have: Broad surgical knowledge Experience in service lines including general, GYN, robotics, neuro, orthopedics, plastic surgery, urology, burn, and trauma Description: This position is a backfill opportunity in the Operating Room. The facility is recognized as one of the top hospitals in the country for clinical quality. The hospital has received national recognition for safety and patient care. It serves as a Level II trauma center and comprehensive stroke center. The hospital also has a Level III neonatal intensive care unit. Experience in robotic surgery is important as it has the busiest robotic surgery program in the region. Open heart and interventional cardiology services are provided on-site. The unit operates with a patient ratio of 1:1. Scrubs will be provided by the facility. A variable schedule is required, including on-call shifts. The documentation system in use is Cerner.
