ER RN Job Details – Elko, NV

• Location: Elko, NV 89801 (Northeastern Nevada)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (10/26/2025 – 1/25/2026)
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Setting: 16-bed Emergency Room (ER)
• Employment Type: Travel RN, W2
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1880 - $2020

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Nevada or compact state
• Minimum 1 year of recent acute care nursing experience (ER/ED experience strongly preferred)
• Ability to manage care for more than 4 patients as needed
• Willingness to float to other healthcare facilities within a 25-mile radius
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (additional certifications may be required per facility policy)
• Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to qualify for travel nurse status

ER Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate emergency nursing care to patients in the ER
• Assess, triage, and monitor patients with acute and emergent medical conditions
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Accurately document patient care in the Electronic Health Record (EHR)
• Float to other clinical units within a 25-mile radius as required
• Maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude and adapt to the dynamic needs of a rural emergency department
