Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with an active license and BLS certification for a day-shift assignment in an inpatient rehab setting.

Responsibilities

• Work in an inpatient rehabilitation therapy environment
• Day shifts: Monday through Thursday 7:00am-6:00pm and Friday 7:00am-3:30pm
• Assignment length is 20 weeks
• Opportunity to negotiate specific shift times
• Responsibilities include direct patient care, evaluating and treating a variety of patients
• Expected to demonstrate strong clinical, customer service, and documentation skills
• Contribute to patient outcomes and operational goals through effective time management and teamwork
• Will supervise and support assistants involved in patient care
• High professional and ethical standards are expected
• Focus on ongoing professional development

Requirements

• Active state license required if applicable
• Minimum 1 year of recent physical therapy experience
• Current BLS certification is required
• Other relevant rehabilitation certifications such as ASHA, CHT, or ACP Training preferred
• Must reside outside a 60 mile radius from the facility
