We're seeking an experienced Rapid Response RN for a travel assignment at a leading hospital in Pleasanton, California. This role is ideal for a nurse with strong ICU or ER experience, capable of responding to emergent patient needs across units in a high-acuity environment.

Position Highlights

• Setting: Hospital Rapid Response Team
• Start Window: November 2025
• Contract Length: 13 weeks, with potential for extension
• Schedule: 4x12s (48 hours/week)
• Shift: Nights

Required Qualifications

• Must be a traveler (permanent address 50+ miles from the facility)
• CA RN License
• 5+ years of ICU or ER RN experience
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS (American Heart Association)
• Experience: EPIC EMR proficiency, previous travel RN experience

Additional Compliance Requirements

• TB Questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray (if applicable)
• Current Health Certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
• Successful completion of new hire training as applicable to job site
• Understanding of patient confidentiality and HIPAA requirements
• Ability to effectively communicate with supervisors, co-workers, and clients; proficiency in English required
• Computer proficiency required

What You'll Do: Respond to rapid response calls across hospital units, assess and stabilize patients, and collaborate with ICU and ER teams to ensure timely and effective care in critical situations.
