Radiology Technologist Job Details

Location: Bismarck, ND 58501 – North Dakota healthcare jobs
Facility: 223-bed acute care hospital with multidisciplinary clinic
Position Type: Travel Radiology Technologist Contract
Start Date: November 17, 2025
End Date: February 16, 2026
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Shift: 12-hour weekend days (Friday 9a-9p, Saturday 9a-9p, Sunday 7a-7p)
Dress Code: Hospital-supplied gray scrubs

Radiology Technologist Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent experience as a Radiology Technologist (Rad Tech)
Current ARRT certification required
North Dakota State Licensure or eligibility for temporary license
BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
Level I/II Trauma radiology experience required
Experience in a 400+ bed hospital highly preferred
Prior travel healthcare experience preferred
Ability to work independently and take call as needed

Radiology Technologist Responsibilities

Perform general CR-DR imaging, fluoroscopy, c-arm, cartography, and trauma radiology procedures
Operate radiology equipment including EPIC EMR, PACS (McKesson), GE, Phillips, Carestream, and Toshiba systems
Float to OR, ER, and provide portable x-ray services throughout the hospital as needed
Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with badge in/out procedures
Participate in department-specific training, orientation, and EMR/equipment protocols
Maintain high standards of patient care, safety, and adherence to hospital policies
