Radiology Technologist Job Details

Location: Kansas City, KS 66160 (Kansas healthcare jobs)
Assignment Type: Travel Radiology Technologist
Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 11/16/2025 – End: 2/15/2026)
Shift: 12.5-hour day shifts, Friday–Sunday (4:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
Hours per Week: 36
Estimated Weekly Salary: $1930 - $2080
Setting: High-acuity hospital, Radiology Department
Orientation: 2-day orientation (Monday & Tuesday during first week)

Radiology Technologist Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of recent experience as a Radiology Technologist in a high-acuity hospital setting
Graduate of an accredited two-year Radiologic Technology program
Current BLS certification (Basic Life Support)
ARRT certification (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
Licensed Radiologic Technologist (LRT) with Kansas Board of Healing Arts (KSBHA) – must be obtained before start date
Proficient in using computer systems for patient testing and data retrieval
Nicotine-free facility (compliance required)

Radiology Technologist Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-ray, CT, MRI, Dexa, and Vascular studies
Operate radiology equipment to ensure high-quality imaging for accurate clinical diagnosis
Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver exceptional patient care
Float between four connected buildings with radiology equipment as needed
Adhere to all hospital protocols, safety standards, and compliance requirements
Work weekends and holidays as required by the radiology unit
Participate in ongoing quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives
