Registered Respiratory Therapist Qualifications

• Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification
• At least 1 year of experience as an RRT in a hospital or acute care setting
• Experience with Epic EMR preferred
• Strong communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced clinical environment

Respiratory Therapist Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality respiratory therapy services to pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients
• Administer, monitor, and adjust respiratory treatments and therapies
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals to optimize patient outcomes
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot respiratory care equipment
• Document patient assessments, treatments, and progress using Epic EMR
• Ensure a safe, clean, and compliant hospital work environment
