Shift Details

• Schedule: 5x8s (Nights)
• Hours: 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Weekend Rotation: Every 4th weekend
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and dependable Radiology Technologist to join the Radiology Diagnostics team at UAB Main Hospital . This role requires an experienced technologist with strong Level 1 Trauma experience and proven ability to perform high-quality radiographic procedures in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate must be proficient in both OR and general radiography and demonstrate confidence working independently during night shifts in a large academic medical center.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 3–4 years of Radiology Tech experience
• Travel Experience: Required
• Skills:
  • Proficient in OR and radiographic procedures
  • Strong Level 1 Trauma experience (Large AMC required)
• Certifications:
  • ARRT – Active Registration (Radiography)
  • BLS – Basic Life Support (AHA preferred)
• Licensure: Must meet Alabama State Radiology requirements
• Important: Candidates with CT experience on their resume will not be considered for this position
