Radiology Technician Job Details

Location: Columbus, Ohio (43213) – Central Ohio healthcare opportunity
Assignment Type: Travel Radiology Technician

Duration: 12-week contract
Shift: 12-hour day shifts (07:00 AM – 07:30 PM), every 3rd weekend required
Hours per Week: 36
Estimated Weekly Salary: $1860 - $1910

Radiology Technician Qualifications

Active Radiology Technician certification (ARRT preferred)
Minimum 1 year of experience as a Radiology Technician or Rad Tech
Experience in Operating Room (OR) required
Competency in Diagnostic Radiology; experience with Vascular, MRI, CT, and Dexa imaging is a plus
Ability to pass all required health screenings and competency tests
Compliance with facility onboarding requirements (background check, drug screen, immunizations)

Radiology Technician Responsibilities

Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures according to established protocols
Assist in the Operating Room (OR), ensuring patient safety and accurate imaging
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Operate and maintain radiology equipment, ensuring proper functioning and safety standards
Provide compassionate care and support to patients throughout imaging procedures
