Facility: Main Hospital – Diagnostic Radiology, Level 1 Trauma Center, Magnet, Teaching Hospital
Position Type: Travel Contract Radiology Technologist
Start Date: November 10, 2025
End Date: February 9, 2026
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts/week (Friday-Sunday, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Total Hours: 36 hours/week
On-call: Call rotation required (3-4 days/month)
Floating: May float to other campus buildings as needed
Estimated Weekly Salary: $1,480 - $1,590

Radiology Technologist Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of experience as a Radiology Technologist (Rad Tech)
Valid ARRT (R) certification – American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
SCRQSA (R) license – South Carolina Radiologic Quality Standards Association
BLS certification (Basic Life Support)
Experience with O-Arm and C-arm diagnostic imaging equipment required
Trauma radiology experience preferred
Radiation badge (provided by agency)
Epic charting system experience preferred
Ability to provide radiology services for adult and geriatric patients
Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)

Radiology Technologist Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic radiology procedures, including X-ray imaging, for diverse patient populations
Operate Siemens diagnostic radiology equipment and C-arms
Participate in call rotation and respond promptly to emergency imaging needs
Float to other hospital buildings on campus as required
Maintain accurate patient records using Epic electronic health record system
Follow all radiology safety protocols and provide compassionate patient care
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams within the radiology department
Comply with hospital policies, including emergency response procedures during hurricane season
