Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an ARRT-registered X-Ray Technologist with recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 trauma experience for a flex schedule position.

Responsibilities

• Position is based in a 396-bed trauma hospital within a Level II Pediatric Trauma Center
• Work schedule is flexible, ranging from 36 to 40 hours per week
• Weekend rotation and on-call coverage are required
• Radiology department serves acute care patients from several locations across Vermont and New Hampshire
• Responsibilities include pre-exam processing, performing exams, post-exam documentation, and maintaining departmental cleanliness and inventory
• Duties may include supporting seven acute care facilities within the network
• Uniform or scrub requirements may be specified by department
• First-time travelers will be considered

Requirements

• Completion of a Radiologic Technology program required
• ARRT registration or eligibility required
• Current BLS certification required
• Active license with the New Hampshire Board of Registration for Medical Technicians required
• Applicants must have recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 trauma experience within the past 2 years
• Knowledge of standard radiologic terminology is required
• License required if applicable
• Candidates must live at least 75 miles away from the facility; no local candidates accepted
