Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Mammography Technologist with IEMA licensure, ARRT credentials, and hospital-based radiology training.

Responsibilities

• Hospital setting in a mammography department
• Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
• No weekend or on-call requirements
• Potential to float to other units or facilities within the health system upon request
• Modules and orientation must be completed during scheduled shifts, with additional hours requiring prior manager approval
• May be required to float to other facilities or units on rare occasions
• Vaccination status and any accommodation requests must be submitted according to facility policy
• Applicants within 75 miles may still be considered at a local rate
• All requested time off must be declared during the application process and cannot be added later
• Two references required, with at least one from a supervisor, manager, or charge RN from the past year
• Modules for orientation are tracked internally and may include both billable and non-billable hours

Requirements

• Graduation from a hospital-based two year program in Radiologic Technology or an Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology
• IEMA license required (if applicable)
• Current ARRT registration in Radiography (R)
• ARRT Mammography certification required within 12 months of start
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association
• Clinical and technical competency in mammography meeting MQSA requirements
• One year direct experience in mammography required
• Must have BSN for this assignment
