Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an X-Ray Technologist for a 13-week assignment, requiring ARRT, SCRQSA, and BLS certifications with at least one year of experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in X-ray departments across two campuses, including Church Street and Restorative Care locations
• Floats required between the Church Street Campus and Restorative Care Campus to cover STAT portable orders during the day
• Shift schedule is Monday through Friday, 1:00 PM to 9:30 PM (5x8 evening shifts)
• Evening shifts only; weekends not required
• Covers adult patient population for diagnostic radiology procedures
• Uses EPIC for charting; recent EPIC experience is preferred but not required
• First-time travelers are considered for this position
• All requested time off must be included at the time of application; no additional RTO will be approved after submission
• Travelers are subject to an attendance policy, and contracts may be reviewed for possible cancellation after two or more unexcused absences
• Cardiac Dysrhythmia Test and Moderate Sedation Test (pass/fail) administered at orientation with one chance to pass
• Work involves portable X-ray exams as needed throughout both campuses

Requirements

• Current ARRT and SCRQSA certifications required
• BLS certification required
• At least 1 year of X-ray technologist experience required; 2 years preferred
• Pending state license accepted, but must be obtained prior to start date
• Must live at least 75 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted
• License required if applicable
