Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an X-Ray Technologist for night shifts who has at least 1 year of experience and is proficient with Epic EMR.

Responsibilities

• Short term acute care hospital setting with 536 beds
• Night shift schedule: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Block scheduling provided for weekend shifts
• No floating between units is required, but floating to nearby affiliate facilities may be expected
• No on-call required
• Use of Epic charting system; previous Epic experience required
• Scrub color is flexible for this unit
• Candidates may be required to float to sister facilities within the region per hospital policy
• Must commit to working at least three out of five major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• All requested time off must be declared during the application process; approval for more than six days may delay an offer
• Returning staff must observe a minimum three-month break before returning as a traveler and cannot live within 50 miles of the facility
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• No parking fees for staff
• Pre-employment online modules must be completed prior to start

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year X-Ray Technologist experience
• Current applicable state license required if applicable
• Experience with Epic EMR required
• Ability to work weekend night shifts as scheduled
• Must provide two supervisory references covering at least 1 year within the last three years
• Must have a personal vehicle for travel between facilities if required
