Radiology Technologist Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech)
Current Kansas State Board of Healing Arts License (LRT)
Registered ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
Experience with portable x-ray exams
Ability to excel in a fast-paced, high-acuity healthcare environment
Preferred: Level 1 trauma center experience, OR/Surgery/C-arm procedures, Synapse/PACS & Meditech EMR familiarity

Radiology Technologist Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic radiology procedures, including portable x-rays, fluoroscopy, surgery, and outpatient imaging exams
Deliver imaging services to trauma, pediatric, OR, ER, NICU, Adult ICU, acute care, outpatient, and COVID-19 patients
Operate advanced imaging equipment: GE Digital portables, AMX CR portables, GE Digital fluoro, Philips fluoro, GE C-ARMS
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care
Maintain accurate records and documentation using Meditech EMR
Demonstrate adaptability and a positive attitude in a busy, team-oriented hospital setting
