Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray with at least 2 years of experience and State of Hawaii licensure for a varied shift assignment.

Responsibilities

• Work in a diagnostic imaging setting with focus on radiography
• Varied shifts including day and evening coverage
• Average of 3 on-call days per month
• Must be willing to float to other nursing departments as needed
• Patient care includes a range of diagnostic radiology cases
• Utilizes Meditech EMR, Philips DR, Philips C-arms, OEC C-arms, and Konica DR equipment
• 13-week contract assignment
• All travelers must report to Employee Health 48–72 hours before assignment start for clearance
• Candidates must arrive on island the Friday prior to a Monday start for HR and Employee Health appointments
• No guarantee of hours or time off
• Facility may terminate assignment for cause at its discretion

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years experience as a radiologic technologist
• Current State of Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license required by assignment start date
• Current ARRT certification required
• Current BLS certification required
• Demonstrated proficiency in operation of radiographic equipment
• Knowledge of radiation safety practices and protocols
• Must have a dosimeter badge
• Experience with Meditech EMR and specified imaging equipment preferred
• License required if applicable
