Radiology Technologist Job Details

Radiology Technologist Qualifications

• Active ARRT (R)(CT) certification required
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Radiology Technologist or Rad Tech
• Skilled in performing X-Ray and CT exams (Computed Tomography)
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a healthcare team
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Must comply with hospital dress code (black scrubs)

Radiology Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality X-Ray and CT imaging procedures using GE CT, GE X-Ray, and Bayer Med-Rad Injector equipment
• Utilize Cerner Rad Net and Phillips PACS for imaging workflow and clinical documentation
• Deliver excellent patient care and ensure patient safety during all diagnostic imaging procedures
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal diagnostic outcomes
• Float to the Hospital Emergency Department as needed to support clinical operations
• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment in accordance with hospital policies and healthcare regulations
