Job Description

Responsible for delivering high-quality patient care through radiation therapy treatments. Duties include performing treatment simulations, fabricating shielding blocks, maintaining accurate EMR records, preparing equipment, conducting quality control tests, and ensuring infection control and radiation safety protocols are followed. All activities align with McLaren’s standards and nationally accepted practices.

Important Attendance Policy:
McLaren Northern Michigan enforces a strict 3-strike attendance policy. Contractors who are absent or more than 20 minutes late for a scheduled shift three times will be terminated immediately. Exceptions may be made for communicable diseases or hospitalizations with supporting documentation. Policy effective as of June 1, 2024.

• EMR: ARIA
• Equipment: TrueBeam, ARIA, Trilogy (preferred)

Submission Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience – Required
• ARRT (T) Certification – Required
• 1 year of travel experience OR post-graduation work experience with Varian and ARIA – Required
• Experience with TrueBeam, ARIA, Trilogy – Preferred
