Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a 13-week post-acute care assignment primarily in a SNF setting, with BLS certification and at least one year of experience required.

Responsibilities

• Work primarily in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) with approximately 80% SNF and 20% home health cases
• Assignment spans multiple buildings with primary location at St John's and some coverage at St Luke's and Kearney Home Health
• Care setting is post-acute with both SNF and home health environments
• Flexible schedule: Monday-Friday, with potential for Sunday-Thursday or Tuesday-Sunday shifts
• Eight-hour day shifts
• Use of Net Health SNF for SNF documentation and HCHB for home health
• Role includes supervising one PTA and working alongside a primary PT for home health cases
• Productivity expectations are 80% for SNF and 95% for home health
• Therapy supervisor is onsite for support
• New graduates are considered for this assignment
• No on-call or call back duties are required
• Local rates apply within 80 miles or when using provided housing
• Day shift dress code is not specified

Requirements

• Active PT license required if applicable
• Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience
• Current BLS certification required
• Ability to work in both SNF and home health settings
