Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an inpatient rehab position with at least 1 year of experience and a valid or pending WI PT license.

Responsibilities

• Inpatient rehab unit within a hospital setting
• Schedule is Monday 08:00-15:30, Tuesday 08:00-15:30, and Wednesday 08:00-14:30, totaling 20 hours per week
• Weekend coverage required every third Saturday for a 4-hour shift, subject to change
• Day shifts with potential for floating within the hospital as needed
• First-time travelers are accepted for this assignment
• Candidates cannot live within a 60-mile radius of the facility; local travelers will not be considered
• Returning travelers may not work more than one year (52 weeks) without a one-year break in service afterward
• COVID vaccine is not required for this role
• Modules and orientation will be provided, with up to 8 billable hours for modules
• Holiday RTO is limited to one holiday if multiple holidays occur during the assignment

Requirements

• Active WI State PT license or pending license accepted (license required if applicable)
• Minimum of 1 year recent physical therapy experience
• BLS certification (AHA required prior to start)
• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate in physical therapy required
• Submission of DOB, SSN, resume, transcript or diploma, education verification, and minimum of three references (two peers and one department chair) within one week of signing
• Compliance with lab and DS appointments within 48 hours of signing is required
