Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing hands-on clinical care , developing individualized treatment plans, and helping patients reach their functional goals. You will collaborate with families, caregivers, and healthcare professionals to ensure a safe, effective, and patient-centered rehabilitation process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care by initiating and administering appropriate treatment plans while maintaining a caseload aligned with productivity standards.

• Conduct accurate and thorough patient evaluations to identify needs and develop individualized care plans.

• Set, monitor, and achieve functional goals tailored to each patient's condition.

• Revise and progress treatment plans as patients meet milestones or needs change.

• Provide education and guidance to patients, families, and caregivers to promote understanding and success of home programs.

• Follow established care path guidelines for patient and family education.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient evaluations, treatment records, and progress notes.

• Complete patient records on the same day of service in compliance with departmental standards.

• Ensure billing accurately reflects time spent, procedures performed, and equipment used .

• Stay up-to-date on the latest advances in physical therapy through continuing education and in-service training.

• Attend at least 90% of departmental meetings and training sessions .

• Assist with training and mentoring new Physical Therapists, students, and volunteers as needed.

• Provide input on departmental processes and performance improvement initiatives.

• Work directly with patients, internal teams, and external healthcare professionals to coordinate care.

• Communicate effectively with other therapists, physicians, and team members to ensure cohesive patient management.

• Support fellow team members by delegating tasks appropriately to RPTAs or support personnel .

• Assist the lead therapist with daily operational tasks and responsibilities.

• Schedule and prioritize daily work assignments to maximize efficiency.

• Contribute to maintaining a smooth workflow in the department and resolving issues quickly.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 0 – 6 months of related experience (ideal for new graduates ).

• Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills .

• Ability to educate patients and families effectively and compassionately.

• Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting.

• Ability to analyze clinical data , interpret technical information, and follow government regulations.

• Strong reasoning skills with the adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment .

Education Requirements:

• Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program (required).

Certification & Licensure:

• Required:

  • Valid State of Oklahoma PT Licensure OR a Temporary Letter of Authorization to practice Physical Therapy .

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
