Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of experience for a day shift position, requiring an active state license and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Rehabilitation therapy setting focusing on direct patient care
• Day shifts: Monday through Thursday from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
• Twenty-week contract assignment
• Physical Therapist position with varied caseloads as determined by the setting
• Primary responsibilities include evaluation, treatment planning, and direct care for a diverse patient population
• Strong clinical and documentation skills as well as customer service focus expected
• Expected to supervise and mentor assistants involved in patient care
• Must reside outside a 60 mile radius of the facility
• Emphasis on teamwork, effective time management, and professional development

Requirements

• Current and active Physical Therapy license required if applicable
• Minimum of 1 year recent experience as a Physical Therapist
• Current BLS/BCLS certification required
• Rehabilitation certifications such as ASHA, CHT, or ACP Training are preferred
