Qualifications/Skills:
Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required
Minimum of 2 years of recent hospital pharmacy technician experience
Graduate of an ASHP-accredited pharmacy technician training program (or equivalent experience)
Active, unrestricted Pharmacy Technician certification (CPhT) through PTCB or ExCPT
Active, unrestricted state license or registration (as applicable by state requirements)
Additional Qualifications/Skills:
Strong knowledge of medication preparation, distribution, and inventory control
Experience with automated dispensing systems (e.g., Pyxis, Omnicell) and electronic medical records (e.g., EPIC)
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team
Knowledge of regulatory standards and hospital pharmacy compliance requirements
Free from illegal drug use and effects of alcohol in the workplace
