Position: Travel Pharmacist – Central Pharmacy

Facility Overview:

• Beds: 815
• Staff: ~150 pharmacy staff
• Day Shift: 34 pharmacists
• Night Shift: 3 pharmacists
• EMR: Cerner, Vigilanz
• Equipment: Talyst Machine, Pyxis, LAFW, CAI
• Scrub Color: Forest green top and bottom or black bottom; business casual also allowed
• Parking: $20 one-time fee for nights/weekends

Required Qualifications:

• License: Active RPh license in North Carolina
• Experience:
  • Hospital pharmacy experience
  • Oversight of technician staff
• Certifications: ACLS preferred (required if working in ED)

Preferred Experience:

• Emergency Department
• Cerner and Vigilanz systems
• Third shift experience
• Strong multitasking and adaptability in high-stress environments

Responsibilities:

• Order verification
• Product checking and distribution
• Clinical documentation
• Answering clinical questions from nurses and providers
• Supporting technician staff
