Pharmacist – Contract Opportunity | $3,326.00 Weekly Gross

Location: Fort Defiance, Arizona
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts (1-hour lunch; 8 AM–5 PM or 9 AM–6 PM)
Assignment Length: 3 months

Position Summary
GHR Healthcare is seeking an experienced Pharmacist to join a respected Indian Health Service hospital in Fort Defiance, Arizona. This short-term contract offers the opportunity to work in a culturally rich community healthcare setting while supporting vital patient care services.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare, dispense, and review medications in accordance with IHS and hospital policies.
Collaborate with medical staff to ensure optimal therapeutic outcomes for patients.
Provide patient counseling and education on prescribed medications.
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with federal and tribal healthcare regulations.
Utilize IHS EHR/RPMS for documentation and medication tracking.

Qualifications

Active Pharmacist license (any U.S. state accepted).
Minimum of 1 year of hospital or IHS pharmacy experience required.
Proficiency with IHS EHR/RPMS preferred.
Strong attention to detail, adaptability, and communication skills.

Compensation & Perks

$3,326.00 weekly gross pay
Housing available
Contract through the end of the calendar year
