📌 Job Summary – Staff Pharmacist (Oncology)

Location:  Pittsfield, MA
Start Date: 10/6/2025 or later
Duration: 13 weeks to 9 months (longer preferred)
Shift: Days | Mon–Fri | 7a–3:30p, 8a–4:30p, or 8:30a–5p (must be flexible)
Hours: 40 per week
On-Call: None | Weekend: None (Holiday coverage possible)
 

Key Duties:

• Provide oncology-focused patient-centered care in a multidisciplinary setting.
• Review therapies, ensure appropriateness, prevent adverse drug events.
• Mix compounds, prepare IV admixtures, chemotherapy, and sterile products.
• Serve as liaison in Cancer & Infusion Center; support new treatment regimens.
• Supervise pharmacy techs/support staff; manage inventory & policy updates.
• Work with oncology team to standardize chemo ordering procedures.

Requirements:

• PharmD required
• 5+ years acute care clinical experience
• Ability to mix compounds (REQUIRED)
• PGY1 Pharmacy Residency in Oncology (preferred)
• BCOP Certification (strongly preferred)
• BLS (AHA) certification
• MA Pharmacist License (must be in hand at submission)
• Own vehicle required
