Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist with a focus on pediatrics and NICU. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience and be comfortable in a high-pressure environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care to neonates, infants, and children in a critical care setting.
• Administer treatments using various modalities such as aerosol set up, intubation, and mechanical ventilation.
• Monitor patients for respiratory distress and adjust therapies as needed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care.
• Participate in neonatal transports and assist in high-risk deliveries.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in respiratory therapy, preferably in NICU and pediatric settings.
• Current certification in ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS, and RRT.
• State licensure to practice respiratory therapy.
• Preferred experience with Epic charting system and trauma level I or II environments.
