Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for primarily outpatient care with EPIC experience and a Wisconsin PT license for an 8-hour day shift assignment.

Responsibilities

• Work in both inpatient and outpatient settings, with a primary focus on outpatient caseload
• Facility float as needed within skillset, including to other affiliated facilities
• Typical schedule is Monday through Friday, 8-hour day shifts
• No weekend or regular call requirements; holiday coverage as needed
• Outpatient treatments are typically 30-minute sessions and evaluations are 60 minutes
• Inpatient coverage may be assigned in 2-hour blocks, generally with 2-4 inpatients
• Expected patient load is 10-12 patients per day
• Role may require floating to other locations as needed within the healthcare system
• Patient care includes both outpatient treatments and occasional inpatient coverage
• Holiday coverage may be required depending on department schedule
• Business casual attire or scrubs as appropriate
• Orientation hours may differ from regular schedule
• Only one job submission per healthcare system is permitted for consideration

Requirements

• Current Wisconsin PT license and AHA BLS certification required; license required if applicable
• Experience with EPIC EMR is required
• Submission requires 2 supervisor references and all certification copies
• Open to new graduates and experienced PTs
• Must not be coming directly from a staff position within a 50-mile radius of the facility
