Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an outpatient setting with experience in a variety of orthopedic and neuro cases and current SD licensure.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient physical therapy setting
• Treats ortho, spine, neuro, and sports medicine patient populations as needed
• Uses equipment such as dry needling, blood flow restriction, AlterG, therapy pool, focused shockwave, and cupping
• Works 8 hour day shifts, Monday through Friday with no weekends or on-call required
• Uses EPIC for charting
• 5-7 day facility and unit orientation provided
• No floating required
• Support from rehab supervisors within the department
• Pewter, dark grey, or granite scrubs required
• Free parking available
• No holiday coverage expectations
• No approval for time off up to 7 days without supervisor consent
• No local travelers allowed; must live at least 100 miles from the facility
• Facility is traveler-friendly and open to renewals

Requirements

• Active SD Physical Therapy license required if applicable
• Current BLS certification required
• Physical therapy degree required
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
• Epic EMR experience preferred
