Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Outpatient Physical Therapist with a valid NY PT license and over 3 years of clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient setting focusing on a diverse range of patient populations
• Typical schedule includes varying shifts between 8:00 AM and 6:30 PM, Monday through Thursday, and 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM on Fridays
• Position located within a clinical, outpatient environment
• Responsibilities include assessment, treatment planning, and providing therapy services in an outpatient setting
• Local candidates are allowed but may receive a reduced rate if within 60 miles
• Travelers who have previously worked at related organizations may require an eligibility review and additional processing time
• Scrub or dress code requirements not specified; confirm before assignment

Requirements

• NY PT license required; license required if applicable
• Minimum of 3 years recent outpatient physical therapy experience
• Two professional references from current or recent managers required
• Only AHA certifications for BLS, ACLS, PALS and NRP are accepted if applicable
• If any required certifications are expiring during the assignment period, proof of renewal or scheduled course date is required
