Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist for an outpatient setting, requiring prior travel experience and a Florida PT license.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient rehabilitation center specializing in orthopedic, neurological, and balance disorders
• Monday through Friday schedule, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, 8-hour day shifts
• No on-call requirements
• Potential float to other outpatient rehab locations within 15-20 minutes as needed
• Uses Epic for electronic medical records
• Patient caseload may include a mix of ortho, neuro, and vestibular conditions
• Strict 50-mile radius rule applies for eligibility
• Responsibilities include evaluation and treatment of patients with orthopedic, neurological, balance, and vestibular conditions
• Travelers are welcomed and expected to function as core staff
• Orientation involves remote onboarding and in-person badge/ID pickup on a Friday
• Must be flexible and willing to float to sister campus locations if needed
• All schedule requests must be submitted prior to offer; changes are not allowed after submission
• Scrub or dress code requirements will be provided upon assignment
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent experience as a Physical Therapist in an outpatient setting
• Prior travel physical therapy experience is required
• Active Florida Physical Therapist license required (license required if applicable)
• Current BLS certification required
• Experience with Epic EMR preferred
• Strong clinical skills to treat a diverse patient mix
