Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an Occupational Therapist with at least 1 year of experience for an outpatient-focused contract offering opportunities in both orthopedic and neurologic care.

Responsibilities

• Primarily outpatient occupational therapy setting with some inpatient responsibilities
• Caseload is 90% outpatient and 10% inpatient with orthopedic and neurologic patients
• Day shift schedule with four 10-hour shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Epic EMR is used for documentation
• No on-call requirement
• First-time travelers are welcome for this assignment
• Contracts longer than 13 weeks may be offered
• Requested time off must be approved at the time of offer
• Drug-free campus policy including marijuana
• Local candidates are accepted

Requirements

• Current or pending New Mexico OT license required if applicable
• Minimum of 1 year of occupational therapy experience required
• Experience with orthopedic and neurologic patient populations preferred
• Completion of an onsite drug screen during orientation is required
