Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an Occupational Therapist with at least 1 year of experience for an outpatient position, with focus on orthopedic and neurologic cases.

Responsibilities

• Majority outpatient setting with approximately 90% outpatient and 10% inpatient responsibilities
• Day shift schedule with four 10-hour shifts per week from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm
• Primary patient population includes orthopedic and neurologic cases
• Epic EMR charting is utilized
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Locals are accepted for this assignment
• No on-call is required
• Drug screening performed onsite during orientation; drug-free campus policy including marijuana
• All requests for time off must be approved during offer stage
• Willing to consider contracts longer than 13 weeks

Requirements

• Current New Mexico OT license or eligibility with pending license accepted (license required if applicable)
• Minimum of 1 year occupational therapy experience required
• Experience with orthopedic and neurologic patient care required
• Two professional references required for consideration
