Nursing Position - Local Contract

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

The position requires working 4 x 10 hour shifts, which will vary between 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM or 9:00 AM - 7:30 PM based on departmental needs. The candidate will be required to work one 8-hour shift every 3rd weekend and take 16 hours of call duty during the same weekends.

Job Description

This nursing role primarily involves working in the main Operating Room, focusing on orthopedic cases while being prepared to assist with general surgery cases as required. Call hours will include a range of shifts during weekends and holidays, and prompt response to call-ins within 30 minutes is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing duties during assigned shifts in the OR.
• Assist with orthopedic and general surgery cases.
• Fulfill call duties including weekend shifts and holiday coverage.
• Complete up to 8 hours of late call as necessary to finalize cases post-shift.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Specific experience and certifications related to surgical nursing are required for this position. Detailed qualifications will be addressed during the application process.
