Operating Room RN Job Details

• Shift: 9AM – 9PM (12-hour day shifts)

• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1570–$1680 per week
• Facility: Main Hospital, First Floor, 11 Operating Rooms

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active and unencumbered RN license (Colorado or compact state)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room (OR) nursing experience
• Experience as an OR Charge Nurse and Trauma Level II experience required
• Strong communication and clinical skills; ability to thrive in a fast-paced surgical environment
• Flexibility and adaptability to changing clinical situations
• Electronic Medical Records (EMR) experience; Meditech preferred

Key Responsibilities for OR RN

• Deliver direct patient care during surgical procedures in a high-volume operating room
• Assist with a variety of surgeries: General OR, Neuro/Spine, Cardiovascular/Thoracic (CVT), Orthopedic, Gynecological (GYN), and Robotic procedures
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team, including charge nurses, surgical technologists, and specialized trauma, neuro, and cardiac teams
• Maintain patient safety and strictly adhere to hospital protocols and clinical guidelines
• Demonstrate professionalism, flexibility, and excellent communication with patients and staff
