Travel OR/CVOR Surgical Tech

We are seeking a skilled OR/CVOR Surgical Tech with expertise in orthopedics and robotics for a travel assignment in Merrillville, IN. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned tech to bring their specialized skills to a dynamic surgical team.

Key Responsibilities

1. Assist in surgical procedures, specializing in orthopedics and robotics, within the OR and CVOR settings.
2. Ensure a sterile environment by preparing and maintaining instruments and equipment.
3. Collaborate with the surgical team to optimize patient outcomes.
4. Maintain strict adherence to surgical protocols and aseptic techniques.
5. Provide support in the setup and operation of robotic systems during procedures.

Qualifications

1. Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) required.
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in OR and/or CVOR, with a focus on orthopedics and robotics.
3. Proficiency in the setup and operation of robotic surgical systems.
4. Strong knowledge of surgical instruments, procedures, and patient safety protocols.
5. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
