Travel Nurse Job Details

• Location: Fort Worth, TX 76104 (Texas healthcare jobs)
• Facility: Main Hospital, Day Surgery Unit (adjacent to PACU)
• Unit Size: 15 beds
• Assignment Length: 13-week travel contract
• Start Date: November 3, 2025
• End Date: February 2, 2026
• Shifts: Varied shifts; may include four 10-hour shifts per week or 12-hour rotating shifts, as scheduled by the facility
• Total Hours: 36 hours/week
• Dress Code: Royal Blue or Hospital Scrubs
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1360-$1460

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas or compact state (required for Texas nursing jobs)
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Day Surgery, Operating Room, or PACU
• Experience with Preadmission Testing preferred
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR system a plus
• Ability to float to Preadmission Testing as needed
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

OR RN Responsibilities

• Conduct preadmission testing and prepare patients for surgical procedures
• Deliver perioperative nursing care and recovery support in a fast-paced Day Surgery environment
• Monitor patient status and maintain accurate clinical documentation using Meditech EMR
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Adhere to ASPAN guidelines and hospital policies
• Participate in on-call rotation as required
• Promote a positive, patient-centered environment for both patients and colleagues
