Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN in Michigan with at least two years of OR experience and proficiency in multiple surgical specialties.

Responsibilities

• Hospital-based Operating Room setting
• Handles general, orthopedic, OB/GYN, endoscopy, and eye (preferred) surgical cases
• Utilizes Epic EMR system
• Navy blue scrubs required
• May be required to assist across a variety of surgical specialties during scheduled shifts
• Requests for scheduling accommodations must be made at the time of profile submission; no requests will be considered after offer
• Maximum of five days of requested time off is allowable for assignment consideration
• First-time travelers are not restricted by prior assignments except for radius rule

Requirements

• Active MI RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room RN experience required
• Proficient in handling general, ortho, OB/GYN, endoscopy, and eye surgeries (eye preferred but not required)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through AHA required
• Must provide recent work history and two supervisory references from the last two years
• Must submit a skills checklist current to within one year and pertinent to OR specialty
• Applicants must live at least 50 miles from the facility; local candidates will not be considered
