Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a Radiologic Technologist (RT) experienced in OR procedures including C-arm and O-arm operation, with at least 2 years of experience and ARRT certification.

Responsibilities

• Position is based in a dynamic healthcare setting covering outpatient, inpatient, OR, and Level I Trauma cases
• Responsibilities include providing C-arm and O-arm coverage for surgical interventions
• Work schedule is four 10-hour shifts on second shift, starting at either 10:00 am or 11:00 am
• Includes call responsibilities in addition to scheduled shifts
• Patient population includes trauma and surgical cases in a teaching hospital environment
• Responsibilities include collaborating with surgical and medical teams to ensure optimal patient care and maintaining radiology equipment functionality
• Participation in ongoing training and educational programs is expected
• Position requires completion of Ohio fingerprinting immediately after contract signing, with detailed instructions provided upon offer
• Candidates must build all time off or scheduling requests into the initial contract
• Locals are accepted at the same rate as travelers
• Former employees are eligible if separated from the facility for at least 6 months
• Current employees of the system are not eligible for travel positions at this facility

Requirements

• Valid ARRT registration with active Radiologic Technologist (RT) certification
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar radiology role, preferably in a Level I Trauma or teaching hospital
• Proficiency operating C-arm and O-arm systems is essential
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are necessary
• License required if applicable
• Two professional references are required, including at least one from a supervisor or formal leadership role
