Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist for a 26-week acute and rehabilitation assignment in Hawaii, requiring at least 2 years of adult outpatient and acute experience and a Hawaii state OT license.

Responsibilities

• Work in both acute rehab and rehabilitation therapy settings
• Assignment covers both inpatient and outpatient adult populations
• Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm
• Department utilizes Net Health Therapy and Meditech EMR systems
• Evaluate, treat, and re-evaluate assigned adult patients in both outpatient and inpatient settings
• Independently manage a full caseload, update treatment and home exercise plans, and perform re-evaluations as necessary based on insurance authorization
• Reporting to Employee Health in Hawaii is required 48-72 hours prior to start of assignment
• Candidates must be able to work Hawaii State and Federal Holidays as needed

Requirements

• Current, active Occupational Therapist license for the state of Hawaii required by start of assignment (license required if applicable)
• Minimum 2 years of recent OT experience in adult outpatient and acute settings required
• Current BLS certification from the American Red Cross required
• Experience with Net Health Therapy and Meditech preferred
