Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an Occupational Therapist with at least 1 year of experience for an acute care setting, offering weekday shifts with rotating weekends.

Responsibilities

• Position is based in an acute care setting
• Work in the Occupational Therapy department
• Day shifts are Monday through Friday with rotating weekend coverage
• 13-week contract assignment with 8-hour shifts
• Uses Cerner Soarian 2014 for charting; experience with this EMR is preferred
• Responsibilities include providing occupational therapy services to a diverse acute care patient population
• May work independently or as part of a supportive therapy team
• Participation in a brief interview process is required before consideration
• Orientation hours are not provided prior to the assignment

Requirements

• Current Occupational Therapist license required if applicable
• Minimum 1 year of Occupational Therapy experience
• BLS certification is required
