Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist with OB, breast, vascular, and abdomen imaging experience for a day shift contract assignment.

Responsibilities

• Work in a general ultrasound unit covering OB, breast, vascular, and abdominal imaging
• Day shift schedule with 5x8 hour shifts from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM
• Call and float to other units are required
• Patient population includes obstetric, breast, vascular, and abdominal cases
• First-time travelers will be considered
• Perm employees may not return as travelers for 2 years after last date worked in a permanent role
• Previous Vandalia Health System employees are not eligible for travel contracts at this facility
• Onboarding includes mandatory modules completed prior to the start date
• Two recent manager or charge references within the past two years are required for consideration
• Orientation is scheduled every other Thursday

Requirements

• Current ARDMS and BLS certifications required
• Minimum of 1 year of OB, breast, vascular, and abdomen imaging experience required
• Will consider candidates with pending certifications
• License required if applicable
• Must have a permanent address at least 100 miles from the facility; 75-100 miles considered on a case-by-case basis
