Job Summary:

Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating vascular access nursing care to patients according to Facility nursing professional practice model.

Required Skills & Experience:

A minimum of two (2) years of recent direct patient care as a registered nurse in a medical/surgical or critical care clinical setting.

Required Education:

Associate’s degree in nursing.

Preferred Education:

Bachelor’s degree in nursing.

Required:

State of Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or a Multi-state RN License required.
BLS - AHS required.
Vascular Access Nurse experience REQUIRED
Must be competent in USG-PIV placement, PICC placement with ECG technology

Schedule Notes:

09:00 PM - 07:00 AM
Monday-Sunday
7 days on, 7 days off
No call
Every other weekend required

Additional Notes:

Strong interpersonal skills to empathetically manage multi-faceted situations
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care across multiple services
Critical thinking skills to incorporate empirical knowledge of vascular access with an understanding of various clinical diagnoses and scenarios to make appropriate decisions.
