Telemetry RN Job Details

• Location: Meridian, Idaho (83642) – Idaho nursing jobs
• Facility Setting: Acute Care – Telemetry Unit
• Start Date: November 10, 2025
• End Date: February 9, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13-week nursing contract
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), 3 shifts/week
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Unit Size: 27 beds (expanding to 37 beds)
• Nurse:Patient Ratio: 1:4
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1680-$1800
• Charting System: Epic EMR
• Scrub Color: Any (clean, professional attire)

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Idaho or compact state
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
• Minimum 2 years of recent telemetry nursing experience
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Proficient in cardiac drips, post-cath recovery, and chest tube management
• Ability to read and interpret telemetry strips; document every 6 hours
• Willingness to float to similar units and Med/Surg as needed (including nearby healthcare facilities)
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the Meridian facility

Telemetry RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients with cardiac, stroke, sepsis, diabetes, renal, and respiratory conditions
• Monitor and interpret telemetry strips, documenting findings regularly
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, including respiratory therapists and nurse aides
• Manage set-rate cardiac drips (e.g., diltiazem, amiodarone) and care for post-cath lab patients
• Perform NIH stroke assessments and assist with post-cath recovery and chest tube care
• Float to similar units or nearby healthcare facilities as needed, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability
• Participate in orientation and ongoing clinical training to maintain compliance with facility and nursing standards
